Fishburne Dedicates Anderson Field

Leadership for Life, Brotherhood for Life

Since 1882, Fishburne’s athletic and parade field has gone nameless. Today, Anderson Field at Fishburne Military School stands as a permanent reminder of the determination and brotherhood of generations of Fishburne men. In a dedication ceremony on Thursday, April 3, 2008, held before the Corps of Cadets, faculty, staff, alumni and visiting VIPs, Charles F. “Dusty” Anderson was honored for his contribution to the school’s athletic legacy.

Fishburne Head Elected AMCSUS President
Alexandria, VA –The Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) has elected Fishburne Military School’s ninth Superintendent, BG William W. Alexander (VA), to be the association’s next president. The association, founded in 1914, is comprised of military colleges, junior colleges and secondary schools throughout the country. Membership includes 42 nationally recognized programs such as Virginia Military Institute, The Citadel, Norwich University and Texas A&M. Read More

Help Fishburne while helping yourself
How often do you use a search engine to find information for your job, your family, or yourself? Instead of going to Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, or any other engine, go to Good Search. Indicate that you are searching to benefit Fishburne, and each time you search using Good Search, Fishburne makes at least one cent. That doesn't sound like much, does it? Attention Army Brats and Overseas Students
Fishburne grads are not real common. At the best, maybe there are 60 of us a year. But there is a smaller group of Fishburne grads -- those who are also military brats or overseas schooled. If you are a Fishburne grad and also either a military brat or a guy who spent time in any type of school overseas, Gene Moser, class of '61, would like to pass on some information to you.
